Anushka Sharma is a Bollywood actress and producer. She is amongst the highest-paid actress and has received many accolades for her acting. Anushka Sharma born 1st May 1988 in Ayodhya from Uttar Pradesh. Her parents were Kumar Sharma & Ashima Sharma. Anushka was the daughter of the retired colonel. Her mother is a homemaker. Karnesh Sharma is Anushka's older brother. Karnesh was in the Merchant Navy, and is currently a film producer. Anushka graduated from Army School Bangalore. Anushka relocated to Mumbai after she completed her degree and began her studies at Elite Model Management, and was groomed by fashion consultant Prasad Bidapa. Anushka played a role in a film known as Band Baaja Baraat starring Ranveer in which she portrayed a Punjabi-American girl of middle class who sets up her own wedding-planning company. The movie got positive reviews. Anushka has completed her 3-film contract together with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
